Nurses in the elderly care administration, summer temporary positions 2025 Karlskrona municipality's elderly care administration is looking for you who want a fun and rewarding summer job where you get the chance to make a difference for others. When do we need you? The need for you as a nurse exists throughout the summer, every day of the week, at all times of the day. We will be able to offer you to work either daytime or evening/night corresponding to full-time throughout the summer, but we understand if you might want to be off as well. Submit your application and we can discuss how much and when you want to work. If you want to start working as early as April, we see that as a positive, and after the summer, there may be an opportunity for extension.

Work as a nurse with us this summer As a nurse in the elderly care administration, you make a difference for other people every day. Our mission is to work together with other professionals on person-centered care and support based on our patients. We meet people, both younger and older, where they are – in our nursing homes, short-term units, and their own house or apartment. The mission includes working preventively, giving advice, and ensuring that medical prescriptions are carried out. In our operations, you will work with palliative patients and perform advanced medical care at home, doing this together with experienced and supportive colleagues who share and support each other.

What is required to work with us? To work as a nurse, you need a nursing license. We work with people, and therefore you need to have a genuine interest in helping others. If you have previous experience in care work, it is a plus, but we believe that with curiosity and willingness, one can go far. To work as a nurse with us, you need to have a driver's license and be accustomed to handling a computer. To be eligible for employment within the Elderly Care Administration in Karlskrona municipality, a police record extract must be presented. It is important that the correct extract is ordered; “Record extract for work at HVB homes” and remember to order the extract in good time, as the processing time can be a couple of weeks.
